NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We are seeking active people to be involved with this project, to make this a reality for our community. There are many ways you can help, below are just a few.
If you don't see something listed, but you have a comment or idea, please let us know.
Skilled labor - Are you a contractor, handyman, electrician, plumber or someone who knows about any other skilled trade? Volunteering
your time, no matter how little or much, would help us immensely with our projects.
Not skilled labor? That’s ok. If you want to help, we can always use a strong back. There is always something to be done.
Reenactors are always needed. Most any time period is welcome between 1776 and 1920.
Gardeners/Landscaping – Like working with your hands? We could use help maintaining and improving the grounds/gardens around the village.
Animal lover? We are always looking for volunteers to help tend to the animals around the village.
Monetary donations are always accepted. Perhaps you would like to make a donation in a loved one’s honor? Let us know and we’ll see what we can work out.
Have a neat artifact? We are always looking for donations of historical artifacts or buildings to enhance the educational value and historical preservation of our history.
Please let us know if you would like to donate an item/building or may be interested in loaning something to be put on display, then returned at a pre-determined time.
Administrative – We are looking for people with some free time and knowledge that would like to help the fisher village with administrative task such as bill paying, general accounting, working the admissions booth, etc.
Legal/Veterinarian Services- Over the course of time we will need help form anyone willing to assist us with our legal issues and veterinarian needs at Fisher Village. These can be some of the most costly expenses at Fisher Village.
Grants/Funding – Perhaps one of the most important positions here at Fisher Village is keeping it funded so we may acquire historical items and that we may continue to teach families and children for generations to come about our history.
If you are interested in any or a few of these opportunities, please let us know. It doesn’t matter if you only have an hour here and there or more, we can always use a helping hand.
